Well – as I had predicted – we obviously never got to meet the Biebs. I knew there wasn’t going to be a very good chance – but I had to try! There are other people out there who have more “clout” who can reach him – and others still who have sadder stories than mine who deserve to get their chance to meet him.
And, although I never got my chance to get the girls to meet him – I still feel that it was a very successful thank you gift to them:-)
When he first came out on the stage, and started his first song, I looked at Morgan. She was sitting there quietly watching him with tears in her eyes, and the biggest smile I have ever seen. One I for sure have not seen a lot of over the past year.
She had that look of complete joy and awe that she just couldn’t believe she was sitting there watching him. That he was right there.
That made it worth every penny, and every bit of challenge I went through in getting the tickets and actually getting to the concert.
My other daughter was thrilled as well, even clapping and singing along with the music, (which for a child who is unbearably shy, that was a huge thing for her!). And, my niece repeatedly told me all day, before and after the concert, that this was “the best day of her life!!!”
So, I feel it was a success.
I have to say, Justin Bieber puts on a show. I am sure there wasn’t one person who left feeling they hadn’t got their monies worth. And, the kid has talent, I will say that too.
Maybe next time, I will think about starting earlier to get them their meeting with him:-)
Thanks to the Biebs…….you gave me the chance to give my kids a pretty awesome thank you gift that I am sure they will always remember!!!

When I was 39 years old, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. With 2 little girls still needing their mom, I began my journey to getting through everything that was being thrown my way. I had a complete mastectomy with reconstruction, and am now in the process of moving ahead in my life after my diagnosis. I hope I can offer some help, some hope and even just a shoulder to anyone else who is having to face this diagnosis.
